Landslides north and south of Seattle are impacting train service

Amtrak Cascades trains are temporarily disrupted between Portland and Everett due to landslides. BNSF Railway, which owns the tracks, has placed a 48-hour moratorium for each slide area. Alternate transportation is provided between Seattle and Everett and trains are running normally between Everett and Vancouver BC. Trains between Seattle and Portland will not be running until February 12 and no alternative transportation is available. Seattle to Vancouver BC trains will resume Saturday, February 11, after 5 p.m. All trains south of Portland are running normally. We apologize for any inconvenience. Passengers with travel plans can confirm their train's status by clicking on Train Status or by contacting Amtrak: www.amtrak.com/contact-us.
