Kids’ Essay Contest
Amtrak Cascades is participating in this summer's Amtrak-Lionel Trains
“Kids' Essay Contest” now through August 31. Kids 12 and under can submit a
short essay about why they like riding Amtrak Cascades and other
Amtrak trains. Look for entry forms onboard Amtrak Cascades, in the Bistro.
Grand prize is The Santa Fe El Capitantm
toy train set. Fourteen first-prize winners will receive The Polar Expresstm
train set. Winners will be judged on content and originality by a panel of
Amtrak judges.
Essays must be submitted on the official entry form and be postmarked by August
31, 2006.
