Amtrak's Everyday Savings — Amtrak offers everyday discounts for seniors, children, military and groups. Some discounts are available online, others by calling 1-800-USA-RAIL and speaking to a representative. Amtrak requires a three-day advance purchase for all of its membership discount programs. Tickets for these groups purchased less than 72 hours prior to train departure will not be eligible for everyday discounts:

• Children’s fares
• Discounts for groups of 20 or more
• AAA members (American Automobile Association)
• NARP members (National Association of Railroad Passengers)
• Active-duty US military personnel, their spouses and dependents
• Veterans Advantage Card members
• Student Advantage Card members
• International Student Identity Card holders
