Movies –
What’s playing?
Current, full-length movies play on overhead monitors. Movies change regularly
and different movies run on north and southbound trains.
Travel Information
– Using global positioning satellites, upcoming stops, arrival times, and
attractions are announced and appear on overhead monitors. Also on the monitors
is a map showing the actual location of the train.
Headsets – For free movies, bring your own
headset or purchase one on the train for $4 (yours to keep). Standard
headphones work aboard the Amtrak Cascades, like those used with any
portable audio device.
